Works by Carlos Suriñach, highlighting the Barcelona-born, German trained composer’s melodic re-imaginings of Spanish folkloric traditions. Included are the flamenco-inspired Ritmo Jondo , the Piano Quartet of 1944 and his Piano concerto, dedicated to Alicia de Larrocha.
